Walkers gathered on a chilly Sunday morning for the annual CROP Walk in Maquoketa. Approximately 100 people participated in the event that was coordinated by the Maquoketa Ministerial Association. CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local volunteers to raise funds to end hunger. Four Maquoketa congregations walked in the event, including members of First United Methodist, First Baptist, United Church of Christ and First Lutheran.
