Maquoketa Community Cupboard coordinator Gary Eggers has added a special challenge to this year’s href=”http://www.souperbowl.org/”>Souper Bowl fight against hunger. Gary has challenged area churches and the community in general to collect 12,400 cans of food before February 3, 2013. Donated food items will then be distributed by the Community Cupboard. If the community can achieve (or exceed!) this goal, Gary will have his head shaved! Collection will begin January 6. A complete list of food items needed is available at the church office.
