The Thrivent Builds/Habitat for Humanity house on South Eliza in Maquoketa is happening! Members of First Lutheran have already donated labor, materials, time, food, hammering, sawing, prayers and money. There are more work dates available into the fall. This is a community outreach project: volunteers from 6 Jackson County congregations have all contributed to this project. Inidividuals and groups can get involved by contacting Pam Bahr or Larry Baker.
