Youth from United Methodist Church and First Lutheran, under the supervision of Rev. Jeff Dadisman, worked together to get the new Community Cupboard into shape for its first day of business on February 10. The volunteers cleaned the area in preparation for equipment and inventory. The Maquoketa Community Cupboard is now located at 902 W. Platt Street, formerly Aldi’s. The building is owned by DAC. The Cupboard will share utility expenses with DAC, however DAC is providing the space rent-free to the Cupboard.
