Twenty-one high school seniors attended the annual Senior Recognition Brunch at First Lutheran on Sunday, April 29. Each student received a unique quilt and a special blessing from the congregation. The quilts were handmade by First Lutheran Saturday Sewers to serve as a visible reminder of God’s love which surrounds them. Parents, grandparents, quilters,”faith friends” and members of the Passing On Faith Team also enjoyed the hearty breakfast prepared by Steve Fishwild, and served by junior classmates.
